Insurance, Estimates, & Payments

Yes, we work with and accept different forms of insurances!

First, contact your insurance company and report the accident to start the claims process. Second, tell them you have chosen to have your collision repairs done at Hus Collision Center. Third, contact us directly and we will guide you through the remainder of the process. We work with most insurance companies so we can make the process simple and quick for you.

If your insurance has prepared an estimate beforehand, we will use that as the initial basis for repairs to your vehicle. If they have issued you a payment, that along with any deductible owed will be paid to the shop upon completion of collision repairs. If there are any additional charges owed to complete repairs to your vehicle, we will handle it directly with your insurance carrier. In the end, you can endorse the check over to Hus Collision Center upon completion of repairs.

No, you are not required to use a DRP or referral shop recommended by your insurance company. You have the right to have your car repaired at the shop of your choice.

Service & Repairs

We want to ensure quality finishes and make sure that all of your replacement parts fit perfectly, that is why we use CAPA certified parts on all of our repairs.

It depends on the extent of work, however, we will be sure to give an accurate estimate of duration and keep you updated throughout the process!

There is no need to apply any additional waxes or sealants to your vehicle. Of course routine vehicle cleaning and coating maintenance will be required.

It depends on the extent of the damage. Generally speaking, if you have any lights out, your car doesn’t feel “quite right”, or parts are rubbing on tires, it is best not to drive the vehicle. You may request to have your vehicle towed to our shop directly from the location of the accident or give us a call and we can arrange towing for you.

Yes, we dry all paint work at 180 degrees, but it still takes time for the finish to cure and harden completely. You can wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution using a soft cloth or sponge. We advise that you do not use a commercial car wash for the first 30 days and do not wax or polish the vehicle for 90 days. Stiff brushes and sponges could mar the finish and damage the surface.

Graphene’s incredible strength and unique properties make it particularly beneficial for protecting and enhancing vehicle finishes, wear, aging oxidation, staining, and water spotting comparable to that of traditional ceramic coatings.
